Our team manages the full development process — including land acquisition, power interconnection, permitting, energy procurement, design, and construction. We also have dedicated experts for government and community affairs, economic development agreements, water sourcing, and sustainability, allowing us to support complex projects and reduce the burden on our partners’ internal teams.

We integrate sustainability into every stage of data center development, with a focus on reducing environmental impact through thoughtful design, responsible construction practices, and long-term operational efficiency.
Our projects pursue high-performance building standards, like BREEAM and LEED. We conduct Life Cycle Assessments to guide material selection and reduce embodied carbon in structural and enclosure systems. Rowan also enables 100% renewable energy access at our sites, giving tenants the option to self-procure clean power. During construction, we set ambitious waste diversion targets — typically 85% — with materials recycled, repurposed, or upcycled, and progress tracked through monthly reporting.
