Percheron is a 300 MW hyperscale campus in Oregon’s Columbia River Gorge, showcasing Rowan’s ability to deliver scale and sustainability in a premier fiber corridor. The site solves the need for hyperscale capacity in a strategic region near major cloud operators while repurposing underutilized farmland for economic benefit. Rowan overcame Oregon’s strict land-use laws and accelerated rezoning while planning for phased power delivery and risk mitigation. Due diligence began in late 2022, rezoning approvals were secured in 2023, land closed in 2024, and phased buildout targets completion by 2030. Rowan engaged early with stakeholders, preserved acreage for environmental stewardship, and conducted extensive impact studies to build responsibly. Percheron proves Rowan can navigate complex regulations and deliver large-scale infrastructure with speed, transparency, and community alignment.
