Bauxite is Rowan's flagship hyperscale campus in Maryland, delivering more than 630 MW of capacity for cloud and AI workloads in one of the most constrained power markets in the U.S. These sites were selected to solve regional supply challenges and leverage proximity to major fiber routes while navigating complex entitlement and infrastructure requirements. Rowan differentiated itself by accelerating approvals, securing strategic land deals, and implementing phased power and pod configurations to mitigate risk and maintain schedule certainty. Initial entitlements and design work began in 2023, with Bauxite I reaching substantial completion in 2025 and Bauxite II and III advancing toward delivery in 2026 and 2027.
The success of Bauxite proves Rowan's ability to execute large-scale projects under regulatory and grid constraints while maintaining speed and transparency at every phase of development.
