Temple is a 300 MW hyperscale data center campus in Central Texas, representing a minimum $700 million investment and a major milestone in Rowan’s nationwide expansion. The site was chosen to meet urgent hyperscale demand while leveraging underutilized industrial land designated for growth. Rowan accelerated approvals, secured unanimous city and county support, and transferred existing power infrastructure to reduce risk and speed delivery. Due diligence and entitlements began in spring 2025, public hearings occurred in September, and construction started in late 2025 with substantial completion targeted for 2027. Rowan engaged extensively with local leaders, businesses, and residents, implemented traffic and noise mitigation plans, and committed to sustainability through efficient design, water conservation, and recycling over 85% of construction waste. Temple proves Rowan’s ability to deliver large-scale infrastructure quickly, responsibly, and in partnership with the community.
