Rowan Digital Infrastructure Announces Strategic Appointment of Sebastian Kurian to the Position of Chief Legal Officer to Enhance Operational Agility and Expedite Project Delivery
Rowan Digital Infrastructure “Rowan” is excited to announce the appointment of our new Chief Legal Officer, Sebastian Kurian. His appointment is a movement forward to further fortify our C-Level team and elevate our capabilities to deliver data center campuses with unparalleled speed and precision.
In an industry where expeditious data center delivery is paramount, the expertise brought forth by Sebastian is poised to optimize legal processes, enabling a streamlined and accelerated pathway for data center deployment. The strategic appointment solidifies our commitment to agility in a competitive marketplace, allowing us to swiftly navigate legal landscapes and ensure timely completion of our hyperscale data center campuses.
Sebastian joins our team from Google where he served as Senior Counsel, focusing primarily on data center site selection, infrastructure, energy, and renewables helping to deliver several mega data center campuses across the U.S. and multiple gigawatts of renewable energy across the globe. Prior to Google, Sebastian was the first full-time energy lawyer at AWS where he was responsible for AWS’s initial power purchase agreements for their data centers. Additionally, Sebastian brings significant prior construction and real estate industry experience.
His expertise will be instrumental in providing leadership and rapidly addressing the legal and regulatory requirements of our commercial, development and construction initiatives.
