Before projects move forward, we spend time in conversation with local leaders, nonprofit partners, and neighbors to understand what makes a community strong — and what helps it remain a place people want to live, work, and raise families. Those conversations shape how we build and where we invest.
That approach is reflected in Rowan’s new Community Catalyst Program, a long‑term commitment to support local organizations that strengthen opportunity, connection, and quality of life in the communities where we develop.
Today, we’re proud to announce the program and share the inaugural Community Catalyst Program recipients across three key markets — something we’ll be doing in each region, once per quarter.
Q1 2026 Community Catalyst Program Recipients
Rowan has approved financial support for eight Temple‑area organizations focused on education, local agriculture, family stability, cultural access, and community development.
Robinson Family Farm
Supports a multi-year sponsorship agreement that will ensure the farm can operate for many years to come.
New Life Community Development Center – Community First Non‑Profit Hub
Supports a shared space that helps local nonprofits collaborate and expand services for Temple residents.
NAACP Temple Branch – 2026 STEM Scholarship Program
Provides scholarships to support local students pursuing education in STEM fields.
Saulsbury Community Garden
Expands access to fresh food while creating a shared space for community connection.
Cultural Activities Center
Supports arts education and cultural programming accessible to residents of all ages.
Family Promise of Bell County
Helps families experiencing housing instability move toward safe, sustainable housing.
Temple Chamber of Commerce
Strengthens the local business community through events, education, and advocacy.
McLane Children’s Foundation
Funds programs that support children’s health, education, and basic needs in the region.

Combines athletics and hands‑on STEM learning to engage students in new ways.
Blessing In A Backpack
Provides weekend meals for two years to 80 Carroll Manor Elementary students experiencing food insecurity.
Carroll Manor 5K Run
Supports a community event that brings families together while funding local school initiatives.
Boffman Consulting AI Seminars
Expands access to emerging technology education and workforce skills.
Downtown Frederick Partnership
Supports economic vitality and placemaking in Frederick’s downtown core.
Carroll Manor Recreation
Enhances youth recreation and community programming for local families.
Women’s Giving Circle
